American Competitive Trail Horse Association Competitive Trail Challenge Saturday, April 24, 2010 Try out this fun new activity with your favorite trail horse -- and help out horses in need at the same time! As seen on RFD-TV, this sport is taking off in popularity across the country since it was first introduced in Texas a few years ago. It is not a competitive trail ride, but rather a short, approximately 6-mile ride where you encounter about 6 judged obstacles along the way. You are only judged on how you and your horse handle the obstacles. They would be things you normally see on a typical trail ride. We will be working with Horse Haven of Tennessee to receive a portion of our proceeds from this ride. Click here for more info on Horse Haven of Tennessee. To participate in this CTC, you will first need to go to ACTHA's website and join the organization. Once you are a member, you go to the Join a Ride and click on the True West CTC to sign up. All the information specific to our ride will be there. If you have further questions, you'll need to contact us at True West.
