MULESKINNER DAYS AT TRUE WEST September 10-12, 2010  All you muleskinners -- load up them mules and bring 'em on over for some great trail riding, and maybe even a few mule games! Let's fill this place with nothing but long ears! Wagons and teams are welcome too. We may even hold a beauty contest for the purdiest pair of animal and rider.   If you want to be in the games and contest on Saturday, you must be decked out in your most authentic old west, frontier, or muleskinner duds. (FYI - Our Mercantile is loaded with these items if you need to pick some up.) There will be a Steak Dinner with all the fixin's on Saturday night and possibly some pickin' on the porch after supper. Anybody who plays an instrument should bring it along! $15 per person for dinner. The dinner is by reservation only -- must be received by September 3, 2010. If you don't want to camp but just come for the fun on Saturday, the day parking fee is $5 per person/mule. Space for this type of parking is very limited. |
